```Goju ittai``` 剛柔一体
Unification of hard and soft.
I will elaborate this further....
```Goho```(hard) method represents kicks, punches, strikes and ```juho``` (soft) method represents takedown, joint locks, chokes, pressuring and escapes.
Energy is wasted when there is no softness in the hardness and attack is ineffectual without hardness in the softness.
Hard without soft wastes only energy and soft without hard can't strike either.
So the unification of hard and soft plays a predominant role in a traditional martial art.
